Three telcos in bidding war to become Cameroon’s third operator

India’s Bharti Airtel, Monaco Telecom, and Vietnam-based Viettel have held discussions with Cameroon’s telecoms ministry to buy a mobile licence in Cameroon, according to Dow Jones citing a report from online publication Cameroon Tribune.
